Disc's for Cheetahs V Sponsored by AAZK of Southwest Missouri
Players’ Meeting
Welcome to the fifth Disc'n for Cheetahs! As always, we’d like to start off by thanking our title sponsor: AAZK of Southwest Missouri.
And of course our tour sponsors: Elephant & Castle Fine Arms, Innova Champion Discs, Creator Designs, Fossa, Millenium Golf Discs, Discmania, Cyclebar Springfield East, 8Up, Fimco Steel, Discs Unlimited, and Dynamic Discs.
Directions: From Kansas Expressway, Turn on Norton, then take first road north after light. Park entrance will be on your right.
Everyone needs to check in at the table by the house. Also, the PDGA is requiring a signed waiver stating we acknowledge the increased risk of COVID-19 by playing in this tournament. Since you all signed up online, you've already signed that waiver.
Speaking of COVID-19, please maintain social distancing at all times before, during, and after the tournament. During check-in, please form three lines, and keep at least 6 feet apart in those lines. Three people at a time will be allowed to check in. There will be water stations on the course, and hand sanitizer at each water station. Please use the sanitizer before touching the water jugs, and do not open the lids. After the tournament, amateur players receiving a payout will need to form three lines, as three people will be allowed in the trailer at any one time.
Round 1 tees off at 10. Scores for the tournament need to be kept on the PDGA website. Player course and hole assignments will be posted by the time registration closes Friday night at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/45018. The link to online scoring is https://pdga.com/score/. The access code is DFC. Please have one person only record the card scores to pdga.com. DGM staff will receive them at tournament central. When round one is finished, lunch will be on your own. Round 2 SHOULD start at 1, but may change based on last card. Watch the PDGA event page for actual tee time. Player course and round assignments will once again be posted to the PDGA event page, and scores should be kept on pdga.com.
Rules for the courses are listed below. Trilogy-only CTP is hole 8. Innova CTP is hole 11. Women's CTP is hole 17. If there is any question about any throws or lies, try to make a group decision. If no decision can be made, play a provisional. When possible, consult with the course TD to determine the correct answer.
