Special shoutout to Shawn Tompkins and the Arkansas Dept. of Corrections for doing so much to get the course ready this year. It is greatly appreciated! They were out here this week making the course look amazing.
Everyone needs to check in at the pavilion. Please try to have no more than six people in the pavilion at a time. Also, the PDGA is requiring a signed waiver stating we acknowledge the increased risk of COVID-19 by playing in this tournament. Since you all signed up online, you've already signed that waiver.
Regarding COVID-19, please maintain social distancing at all times before, during, and after the tournament. During check-in, please form three lines, and keep at least 6 feet apart in those lines. Three people at a time will be allowed to check in. After the tournament, amateur players receiving a payout will need to form three lines, as 6 people will be allowed in the trailer at any one time.
Round 1 tees off at 9. Scores for this tournament will be kept at pdga.com/score. The code is PRO. Round 1 player hole assignments will be posted shortly after registration closes Friday night at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/62333. The staff will automatically receive the scores at tournament central. When round one is finished, lunch will be at the pavilion. The Lion's Club is providing lunch free to the players.
Round 2 SHOULD start at 1, but may change based on last card. There will be an announcement by DGM staff, and round 2 assignments will be posted on the PDGA page.
Please keep in mind that AT LEAST two people should be keeping score on your card. The PDGA has fixed their electronic scoring such that multiple people can be keeping score at the same time. It will even tell you when different scores were entered for the same person on the same hole. Having multiple scorers will help eliminate mistakes.
For anyone traveling the night before, Lemley's Cedar Rock Inn is a tournament sponsor this year, and has lodging and camping available.
Supper options Friday or Saturday: Between the Buns is a friend of the disc golf course, and a great local option. If you are looking for refreshments, Friday evening, Juniper's Back Door will be offering a special on chips and salsa for all players; They will also be open Saturday evening. Riverside Pizza offers pizza options to go.
Rules for the courses are listed below. Trilogy-only CTP is hole 2. Unbranded CTP sponsored by Innova is hole 7. MVP CTP is hole 14. Prodigy CTP is hole 17.
If there is any question about any throws or lies, try to make a group decision. If no decision can be made, play a provisional. When possible, consult with the course TD to determine the correct answer.
