Monkey Trap Open Online Players Meeting - Jul 11th, 2024
Patriot's Gold & Silver Presents: The 15th Annual Monkey Trap Open
Players’ Meeting
Welcome to the 15th Monkey Trap Open! As always, we’d like to start off by thanking our title sponsor: Patriot's Gold & Silver. And a big thank you to Kick'N Sound DJs for being our tournament sponsors.
We’d also like to thank all of our tour sponsors this year: Patriots Gold & Silver, Elephant & Castle Fine Arms, Kinney Amusement, Dynamic Discs, Innova Champion Discs, Fossa Disc Golf, Prodigy Discs, Creator Designs, MVP/Axiom Discs, Millennium Golf Discs, Discmania, 8Up, Greazy Dyes, Discs Unlimited, Swing Right Golf, Intuitive Body Works & Massage and Sticky Dyes.
Everyone needs to check in near hole one by the trailer. There will be a $5 cash Ace Pot available on the check in table. If no Ace is hit, the pot will roll over to the next DGM event.
Scores for the tournament should be kept on the PDGA website. Player course and hole assignments will be posted at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/78343. Round 1 starts at 9. The link to online scoring is https://pdga.com/score/. The access code is MTO. Everyone is required to keep score. DGM staff will receive them at tournament central. When round one is finished, everyone is on their own for lunch.
Round 2 should start at 1, but will be determined by the last card in. Player course and round assignments will once again be posted to the PDGA event page, and scores should be kept on pdga.com. Per PDGA rule, if anyone should require a paper scorecard, they can be made available by DGM staff.
Rules for the courses are listed below. Unbranded CTP is hole 2. Full Turn-only CTP is hole 18. MVP-only CTP is hole 7, Prodigy-only CTP is hole 13. If there is any question about any throws or lies, try to make a group decision. If no decision can be made, play a provisional. When possible, consult with the course TD to determine the correct answer.
